Within AWS specifically, you can select an Availability Zone in your region. Each region is completely independent and each Availability Zone in the region is isolated. This achieves the greatest possible fault tolerance and stability.
Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) provides scalable computing capacity in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. Using Amazon EC2 eliminates your need to invest in hardware servers up front, so you can deploy applications faster. You can use Amazon EC2 to launch as many or as few virtual servers as you need, configure security and networking, and manage storage. These servers can be secured by Fortigate VPN. Only your local LAN can access your iPECS environment for greater security.
